NBA Playoffs kick off this weekend on ESPN

Los Angeles Lakers claimed the NBA Championship last year, but will face a long road to repeat that performance in season 2020-21.
 
LeBron and the Lakers snuck into the playoffs, but they face a host of hungry contenders looking to steal the NBA crown away from the bright lights of Los Angeles.
 
Local interest will be high with Ben Simmons and the Philadelphia 76ers and Joe Ingles and the Utah Jazz the number one seeds in their respective conferences and both are favored to take their place in the NBA Finals.
 
The NBA Playoff action on ESPN begins Sunday May 23 with a live double header, as the Boston Celtics meet the Brooklyn Nets at 10.15am AEST.
 
That will be followed at 12.45pm AEST by the Portland Trail Blazers and Denver Nuggets clash.
 
Monday at 11.30am AEST, Aussie Joe Ingles and the Jazz begin their first round series, against either the Golden State Warriors or Memphis Grizzlies.
 
The Los Angeles Lakers look to bounce on from their thrilling win over Golden State in the play-in tournament, as they open their playoff campaign against the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday, live on ESPN at 12pm AEST.
 
Saturday May 29 sees a huge NBA triple header, with three live playoff games spread across both ESPN and ESPN2.
 
The first week of the NBA Playoffs on ESPN concludes with another live double header on Sunday May 30, which includes Ben Simmons and the high flying Philadelphia 76ers.
 
As always, ESPN will provide full replays and dedicated NBA Mini’s outside of the live action, so fans can keep up to date with all the latest from the NBA Playoffs.
