Millionaire Hot Seat November 11

With Monday being Remembrance Day Millionaire Hot Seat has planned a very special episode.

Heroes who have served in devastating wars including Iraq, Afghanistan and Vietnam, and seen conflict from East Timor to Somalia, will take to the Hot Seat in an effort to win the elusive million-dollar cash prize.

From Peter Smith who served 25 years in the Army to James Frisby, a new recruit entering Duntroon next year, we meet six Australians from different walks of life who have one thing in common: bravery and dedication to the defence of their country.

Host Eddie McGuire said: “It is absolutely significant these days to appreciate the importance of Remembrance Day alongside Anzac Day. The 11th of the 11th was the end of the war to end all wars, but sadly that was not the case. Today it gives us the chance to remember all the men and women who have served through numerous conflicts to preserve the peace and quality of life we enjoy.

“Millionaire Hot Seat Remembrance Day edition, in a small way, gives us the chance to thank the men and women of the Australian Armed Forces – lest we forget.”

Hot Seat is enjoying its best year yet, recording impressive audience growth and attracting an average of 160,000 more viewers across the 5 City Metro in the battle of the game shows at 5.30pm.

Since it launched in 2009, Hot Seat has given away more than $21 million in prize money.
