Ten has locked in it’s Telemovie about Princess Mary in a prime Sunday slot.
From the streets of Sydney to the palaces of Denmark, Mary: The Making Of A Princess follows the lives of Tasmanian-born Mary Donaldson (Emma Hamilton) and Crown Prince Frederik André Henrik Christian of Denmark (Ryan O’Kane) as they embark on a fairy tale romance.
This special, romantic television event takes a look behind the fairy tale and shows how an independent Tassie girl with professional ambitions of her own handled the complications and choices associated with a love affair with a Prince.
Mary and Fred’s love is destined to endure geographical distance, as well as cultural and language barriers, as they both navigate the path of true love and Mary’s transformation to become Crown Princess Mary, the future Queen of Denmark.
Having previewed this yeasterday it’s an enjoyable telemove if you don’t take it too seriously.
