It was third time unlucky for Lyn and Sal who faced Victor and G to stay in the cooking contest.
All remaining teams joined Pete and. Manu at the table for judging and Colin was on hand to help in the kitchen.
Lyn and Sal delivered a menu that consisted of Entrée: Pork Gyoza ,Main: Grilled Hoisin Quail with Vietnamese Coleslaw and Soy Vinaigrette and Dessert: Banana Spring Rolls with Ice Cream.
Victor and G served up an Entrée: Agedashi Tofu and Main: Fish Curry and Dessert: Lime Cake with Elderflower Buttercream
After all the dishes were tasted it was time for the scoring Lyn and Sal scored a respectable 104 points while Victor amd G scored 105 points.
On their departure Sal: “It’s been a really good experience. I couldn’t have done it with anybody else. Our friendship has grown through all the ups and downs. We’ve enjoyed it all, it’s been amazing!”
Lyn: “Sal is the most beautiful, heartfelt person in the world. You’ve left Port Pirie once in your life and here you’ve come on this huge rollercoaster. I’m so proud of you.”
