Today, Britbox Australia becomes the home of Line of Duty, but what does the series have in store this time around?
Picking up two years after that explosive finale that left us wanting more, things have changed for our much-loved trio Ted Hastings (Adrian Dunbar), DI Kate Fleming (Vicky McClure), DS Steve Arnott (Martin Compston) at AC-12.
This season sees the arrival of DCI Joanne Davidson (Kelly Macdonald), who makes quite an impression in her first episode as her team investigates the murder of a woman named Gail Vella (Andi Osho).
It’s also nice to see the addition of DC Chloe Bishop (Shalom Brune-Franklin), an eager new arrival who I can’t wait to see develop.
Usually, I’d be a little more forthcoming with plot details, but writer Jed Mercurio has crafted a season premiere that’s full of surprises and twists that are best left for you to discover for yourself.
With its dynamic performances and captivating plot, the latest installment of Line of Duty may just be the best yet.
Line of Duty is now available on Britbox.
