After lasting forty seven days as intruder it was time for Australia to say farewell to the fit Canadian.
Joining host Sonia Kruger on stage, Leo said: “I’m surprised I’m here. I thought I had this one in the bag. I thought it would be Priya sitting here right now.”
Sonia asked Leo about his spirituality and whether or not he was being fake. “Everything the public saw of me was real,” he said. “The feelings I had for people in the House were real.”
Leo and Sonia discussed Leo’s false name, and he said: “My real name is Ryan, but we had to change it for voting purposes. The story goes, when the nurse handed me to my mum she whispered ‘he has the spirit of the lion’, so my mum has always called me Leo the Lion.”
Regarding his on-off relationship with Skye, Sonia asked him how he feels about her now. “I feel the same about Skye. I think she’s incredibly special, funny and interesting. She has an overwhelming lust for life. She will always have a soft spot in my heart. We will have to see what happens with our relationship on the outside.”
Leo;s departure means that David, Priya, Ryan and Skye will face an eviction tonight.
