It’s good news for Katherine Heigl as her TV series gets a series order .
Heigl will make her television return in State of Affairs. The premise of the series centers on a key CIA agent who counsels the president on high-stakes incidents around the world. She balances her intense political responsibilities with a complicated personal life.
The cast also includes Adam Kaufman , Cliff Chamberlain , Tommy Savas and Leslie Odom, Jr.
The series will see Ms Heigl return to the small screen after her much publicised exit from Grey’s Anatomy in 2010.
