It’s the cliffhanger that stunned Ramsay Street.
Sam (Richard Grieve) and Annalise (Kimberley Davies) are clearly cagey after news from their meeting with the council. With many of the residents gathered at The Waterhole, Sam explains that the developers are scrapping the original plans for the freeway in order to make a clean break.
Sadly, the new proposal changes the freeway’s location – it will now go straight through Ramsay Street!
Tonight, the fallout of the announcement plays out, with most of the episode focusing on the community reaction. Everyone is, naturally, shocked by the news that Ramsay Street will have to be demolished to make way for the development – Max Ramsay would be rolling in his grave at the thought of his street being destroyed!
But Ramsay Street isn’t going down without a fight, and as everyone bands together they discuss tactics to fight the freeway.
Despite the chaotic time, Jane (Annie Jones) and Clint (Jason Wilder) continue to revisit their romantic chemistry. The former couple are pleased by the results of their efforts after convincing Nicolette (Hannah Monson) that she’d be a brilliant single mum. Is a rekindling of on of the show’s most popular pairings on the cards in these final days?
And more importantly, can the residents of Erinsborough win the fight to save Ramsay Street?
Elisabeth Packet delivers one of the most moving instalments where legends shine.
