Iconic Australian Singer Revealed As The Alien On The Masked Singer

The Masked Singer has revealed the Alien in a jampacked episode.

In the first performance of the night, the Wolf gave an upbeat performance of Shawn Mendes’ catchy tune There’s Nothing Holding Me Back, before our fierce and soulful Lion followed with its take on Billie Eilish’s Bad Guy. The Prawn proved he is once again, a charismatic crustacean, with a cheerful cover of Queen’s rock classic I Want To Break Free. Rounding out the night was Robot, who owned the stage with his take on pub anthem Horses by Daryl Braithwaite.

Despite a performance that was out-of-this-world, Australian singing-sensation Nikki Webster was voted out on tonight’s episode of The Masked Singer Australia.

Nikki put the extra in extra-terrestrial, bringing the judging panel and audience to their feet with her energetic and animated rendition of 5 Seconds Of Summer’s smash-hit Youngblood.

Before her identity was revealed, our crack unit of powerhouse detectives, Jackie O, Lindsay Lohan, Dave Hughes and Dannii Minogue had their final guesses at who could be the resident Alien.

While Lindsay locked-in petite performer Samantha Jade, Jackie placed all her bets on the wiggly children’s entertainer, Emma Watkins. Keeping with his tradition of favouring sport stars, Dave settled on Olympian Lydia Lassila.

Torn between the yellow Wiggle and her original guess of Nikki, Dannii decided to follow her gut and go with the latter.

After Nikki removed her mask, a joyous Dannii said: “It was my first guess. I went home and looked up your first single and it had a little alien on it”.

A defeated Dave exclaimed: “Nikki was on my television show Hughesy…We Have A Problem. Initially I did think it was you and I went off track. I should of just kept the faith.”

Nikki might be hanging up her space suit and phoning home to planet earth, but The Masked Singer Australia journey continues for the remaining entertainers.
