Here and Now starts on Showcase tonight

Tonight Showcase airs one  of the most anticipated series of 2018 from HBO Here and Now.

Created by Alan Ball (True Blood, Six Feet Under) this new HBO series focuses on a contemporary multiracial family – a philosophy professor, his obsessive wife, their three adopted children from Liberia, Vietnam and Colombia, and a sole biological child – as it faces a series of life changes and emotional challenges.

The seemingly perfect, progressive family is actually harbouring deep rifts, as well as some divisive secrets. When one of the children begins to see things others cannot, confusion reigns. Is it mental illness, or something else?

Featuring a stellar cast led by Oscar winners Holly Hunter and Tim Robbins, Here And Now is a funny, timely, thought-provoking meditation on the complicated forces at work on us all in America today.
