It was a doozy of an episode last night as another cook was sent packing.
During lunch prep, Gaz offers words of wisdom to Issa about how soon is too soon to text a girl. The ladies’ man suggests to initiate the first date but not to kiss her. Issa’s reply is that he would “never do anything that daring”.
Special guests dining included The Real Housewives of Sydney’s Lisa Oldfield, Athena X and Victoria Rees as well as Gaz’s model girlfriend, Emma McVey.
The red team fall over themselves on the pass with Pettifleur having a huge clash with Sam Frost. Sam swore at Pettifleur and then orders her teammate back to her station saying she was “sulking, complaining, not helping anyone.” Sam later apologies for her outburst. Willie Mason left Issa in charge of the beans but diners deem them overcooked.
In a hilarious moment, David Oldfield spends too much time neglecting his duties in the kitchen so he could pander to his wife’s needs on the restaurant floor. With both teams scoring equally, Issa in tears as David is placed in the last chance cook off against Pettifleur and Debra .
Marco reveals a dish for the Taste It Make It challenge: a schnitzel. The celebrity cooks must determine the protein (turkey), herb (rosemary), cooking method (clarified butter) and cheese (parmesan).
ALL cooks get the protein incorrect, choosing chicken. However, Pettifleur didn’t use flour in her breadcrumb mix making her dish soggy and inconsistent.
Marco dismissed the real housewife and she was not happy about it, refusing to answer a final question Marco put to her and ignoring any parting advice.
