Havana Brown kicks off the first [V] Hits Island Party for 2017

V hits is going to kick off the Island party season with a bang having confirmed Havana Brown as the first guest.

Chart-topping Australian pop artist and DJ Havana Brown will unleash the freshest beats and dance-floor anthems on Sydney Harbour at this summer’s first [V] Hits Island Party presented by Little Green Cider held on Wednesday January 18, 2017.

Since launching her first hit single as a pop artist, “We Run The Night” which went triple platinum, the already phenomenally successful DJ has steadily taken over the charts as well as the clubs selling over 2.8 million singles worldwide. Havana Brown has toured the world from Tokyo, to Paris to Miami and everywhere in between, as well as supporting the likes of Bruno Mars, Britney, Gaga and Rihanna.

One of the first Australian female artists to make the crossover from DJ to pop artist, Brown’s latest single “Like Lightning” featuring Dawin released in September this year was written by pop star Ke$ha and hit maker Stuart Crichton. Brown holds four consecutive USA #1 Billboard Club Dance singles and her 2013 debut album, Flashing Lights was a Top 10 ARIA smash off the back of her hit single “Warrior”.

This season’s [V] Hits Island Parties exclusive performances carry on from a party tradition set by international superstars Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Ed Sheeran, Mark Ronson, Major Lazer, Dizzee Rascal, Rudimental, Charli XCX, and Galantis amongst local artists Hilltop Hoods and Bliss n Eso and many more.

Party goers can enter online at vhits.com.au for the chance to win tickets and a major prize of flights and accommodation to be at the [V] Hits Island Parties on Sydney Harbour.

If you’re not one of the lucky few to be there in person, don’t worry, you can see all the [V] Hits Island Party action on [V] Hits Friday January 20 from 4pm in Tweet The Beat only on Foxtel.
