Things are about to get interesting on Neighbours. Tonight sees the arrival of Real Housewives of Melbourne star Gina Linao
Linao takes on the role of Mary Smith the adoptive mother of Paige Smith (Olympia Valance) who just rocks up at Paige’s 21st to celebrate with her.
It is Paige’s 21st birthday, but she does not feel like she has a lot to celebrate. She is not with the man she loves and Tyler’s recent arrest places a lot of stress on her shoulders. On the verge of cancelling her party, Paige’s loved ones rally together to convince her why her birthday is worth celebrating. The evening is a wild success until her adoptive mother, Mary, arrives unexpectedly.
After discovering that Brennan has kicked Tyler out of the house, Nate turns to Karl and Susan for help. Will Ramsay Street’s favourite couple be convinced to take in another troubled youth?
While I won’t reveal many more details about the storyline because it packs quite a few surprises. I can say that Linao is perfectly cast and plays the part so well I wish it was a regular role.
