Foxtel commissions second season of Love It or List It Australia

Foxtel has commissioned a second season of Lifestyle’s hit new local property series, Love It or List It Australia, with casting now underway across the country.

Based on the hugely successful global format, Love It or List It Australia features real estate expert Andrew Winterand design guru Neale Whitaker as they help homeowners with one of life’s big dilemmas – renovate and stay or sell up.  Andrew and Neale battle for the hearts and heads of the homeowners as they try to discover what’s best for the family.

The first season – currently airing Wednesdays at 8.30pm on Lifestyle – has been a phenomenal success for the channel, breaking viewing records and attracting rave reviews.

Hannah Barnes, General Manager of the Lifestyle Group, said: “We are thrilled with the success of the first series of Love It or List It Australia and can’t wait to start production on season two.  Love It or List It Australia achieved the largest audience for a series launch in Lifestyle history, which is a testament to the quality of the show that Beyond has made for us.

“We are a nation obsessed with property, and the appeal of this format is that it covers buying, selling and renovation all in the one show.  Add to the mix the good natured competition between our expert hosts, Andrew and Neale, and the very real dilemma these homeowners are facing, and viewers have an unbeatable combination of fantastic advice and tips with a lot of fun and entertainment along the way.”

With casting for season two currently underway producers are looking for homeowners who have a love/hate relationship with their house and are facing the tough decision of whether to sell or renovate.
