In classic Neighbours form, fans were left on the edge of their seats after an intense and fiery cliffhanger.
When we left our neighbours last night, Max (Ben Jackson) and Roxy (Zima Anderson) were planning Max’s next move in the garage by torchlight, but are discovered by Sadie (Emerald Chan), Bryon (Xavier Molyneux) and Nicolette (Hannah Monson). The friends enjoy an emotional reunion, but the moment is cut short when Lachie (Jack Hayes) throws a Molotov cocktail into the garage, setting it on fire and trapping them all inside.
When we pick up, Holly (Lucinda Armstrong) races to let Shane (Peter O’Brien) and Andrew (Lloyd Will) know that Max and Roxy have gone to the garage. As the fire intensifies, Roxy and Max find an exit and call for help whilst Bryon goes back into the building to find a collapsed Sadie and Nicolette, leaving him with an impossible choice. Will the grim reaper visit Erinsborough once again?
Elsewhere, a long-missed neighbour returns, while fans are finally given an answer to the question of who is Chelsea’s (Viva Bianca) baby daddy.
Writer Sarah Mayberry puts Max’s past front and centre in an episode that gives the younger cast a moment to shine during this milestone week.
Neighbours airs Monday-Thursday at 4:00pm on 10, with episodes repeated at 6:30pm on 10Peach Comedy.
