Finn Makes A Shocking Return

Finn Makes A Shocking Return

Last night Neighbours delivered an epic plot twist with the return of Finn Kelly, almost 12 months after he died onscreen.

For those not keeping up, Susan (Jackie Woodburne) has been working on a revised version of Olivia Bell’s (Alyce Platt) tell-all book, The Devil You Know, about what happened with Finn (Rob Mills) last year. Watching back Finn’s old video diaries stir up old feelings of guilt and confusion for Susan. Confiding in David (Takaya Honda), he suggests using visualisation to help process her feelings.

But in a shocking turn of events, for both Susan and viewers, she visualises Finn, in the flesh, sitting across from her at the kitchen table.

While scared that she’s been able to conjure up a vision of Finn, Susan takes advantage of the opportunity to ask him the questions that have haunted her for so long. Will Finn’s responses help or hinder Susan, and just how long will he be sticking around for?

Executive Producer Jason Herbison has penned an episode that brings back one of the most villainous characters for an arc that feels like we might finally find complete closure one year after the horrors of Endgame. Jackie and Rob continue to give powerful and dynamic performances, and although the character of Finn is super evil, it’s great to have Rob pop back on our screens.

But is this actually Finn’s finale? Whether it is or not, you won’t want to miss this return.

Neighbours airs 6:30pm weeknights on 10Peach.
