Farmer Dylan says three words Ally has been waiting to hear

Tonight, on Farmer Wants A Wife, Farmer Dylan and Farmer Jarrad took a leap of faith, each confessing their love for their chosen ladies.

Emotions ran high as both Ally and Scarlett confessed they had fallen in love with Dylan before he made his final choice.

“This decision was really hard to make because I’ve been falling for two ladies this damn near entire experience,” said Dylan. “The lady that I’m going to pick has my heart.”

Despite once describing their connection as “undeniable”, Dylan farewelled Scarlett, concerned that their lifestyles weren’t compatible in the long term.

Scarlett was heartbroken but supportive of his choice.

“At the end of the day, I want you to be happy, and you’re so brave standing here. I completely understand your concerns as well,” she said before pulling the farmer in for one final hug.

When Ally arrived, she was convinced she was about to have her heart broken, believing Dylan saw her as a “flight risk”.

Then came the moment Ally had been hoping for.

“I have to follow how I feel,” Dylan told her. “I love you.”

A shocked Ally couldn’t believe what she was hearing.

“Oh my God, that is not where I thought it was going. I thought I was doomed.”

Dylan then playfully added, “You’re not allowed to run now, though!” alluding to the couple’s rocky journey, which saw Ally temporarily leave the farm. “I’m so grateful to have met you, Ally, and I’m keen to see where we go.”

Meanwhile, Farmer Jarrad’s journey ended on a high note, as he declared his feelings for schoolteacher Brodie, telling her she was “the most grounded and genuine person” he’d ever met before revealing that he was falling in love with her.

“I know you’d make an amazing wife and mother. I want you to know that you are enough and, Brodie, I choose you. I’m falling in love with you.”

An overwhelmed Brodie admitted she’d fallen for Jarrad too.

“I’ve definitely fallen for you,” said Brodie. “You’re very easy to love, and I look forward to what our future will look like.”

But Jarrad’s final conversation with Yvonne took an unexpected turn. Before Jarrad could reveal his choice, Yvonne stopped the farmer mid-sentence, telling him she no longer believed they were right for each other.

“I have been vulnerable and open, and as honest as I ever thought I would be,” said Yvonne. “But I don’t feel like you’ve even met me halfway.

“I feel like I’ve been begging for answers that I never got,” said Yvonne, before adding, “I do still want to find my love, but I’m so sorry, you are not my farmer.”

Jarrad admitted he never saw her decision coming.

“I was blindsided by how that unfolded,” he said. “We’ve had an amazing journey, and I feel like I’ve grown a lot from the time that I’ve spent with Yvonne.”
