Neighbours is closing out the 2019 season with a few surprises for our favourite residents.
It’s New Years Eve and Pierce (Tim Robards) is throwing a New Year’s Eve bash to remember at The Waterhole, with Chloe (April Rose Pengilly) reminded of the new year’s resolution she made last year. Upon sharing this with Pierce, he is hit with a new idea to help Hendrix (Benny Turland) move on from Chloe, but just who has he helped set his son’s eyes on?
Down the street, Toadie (Ryan Moloney) is confronted by the prospect of heading into the New Year without Sonya (Eve Morey). Needing a mate, Toadie convinces Kyle (Chris Milligan) to come over and keep him company. But having split with Amy (Zoe Cramond) last week, Kyle isn’t really in the mood.
As the clock strikes midnight, love takes the wheel, but just who will be hooking up, and what New Year’s gift will Toadie receive to ring in 2020?
After a jam-packed Christmas week, the show ends the 2019 season with an episode full of character-driven plot and it’s a welcome relief. Make sure you celebrate the New Year with Neighbours!
