Eleven to air Tropfest in February

 Ten  has partnered with Tropfest to broadcast the 25th anniversary of Australia’s premier short film festival next month.

Tropfest will once again captivate audiences across Australia as they are exposed to the creative and talented storytellers who possess the aptitude and creativity to bring their narrative and characters to life on the big screen. For the first time it will air on Eleven and be streamed on Tenplay.

Inspiring and nurturing many filmmakers over the past 25 years, Tropfest will enthral and entertain viewers, broadcasting 16 finalists and announcing a winner on the night selected by a revered jury headed by Australian actress, Rose Byrne.

Beverley McGarvey, Network Ten Chief Content Officer, said: “Network Ten is excited to team up with Tropfest and showcase the iconic and prestigious Australian short film festival on free-to-air television.”
