Love bubbles burst on tonight’s Farmer Wants A Wife.
The farmers received a surprise text from host Natalie Gruzlewski, instructing them to each choose two ladies for a double date before making the tough call to send one home.
With only two ladies remaining on his farm, Jason opted to skip the double date altogether, inviting Logan – with whom he hadn’t yet spent time – for a round of golf.
Ahead of his double date with Cara and Carly, Jarrad wrestled with who could be his perfect match: “Cara’s a very attractive woman, she’s very headstrong and I’m attracted to that. Carly’s definitely wife material. I’m just a little bit unsure if it’s still gonna build into something that I’m looking for.”
Alex’s connection with Eddy had him thinking about their future: “Every day I wake up excited to see Eddy. She’s totally swept me off my feet.” while Eddy started to feel a bit unsure after finding out about Alex and Suzannah’s romantic kiss on their last solo date. “If you’re kissing everyone then obviously it doesn’t mean anything to you,” she said.
Despite her doubts, Eddie felt stoked when Alex invited her, along with Gabbie, on the double date, while Gabbie picked up on the undeniable chemistry between the pair.
Dylan chose Lily and Ally for his double date but for very different reasons: “I feel like we [Lily and I] only briefly connected and it’d be good to venture further.”
“Ally and I need to clear some more things up and kind of figure out where we’re at a bit,” he added.
After the date, Dylan pulled Ally aside seeking reassurance. But despite the conversation not going the way he’d hoped, it ended in a passionate kiss, leaving him more conflicted than ever: “There’s something about her that instead of thinking straight, I just kind of blur out and then I just settle for whatever she reckons,” he said. “I’m struggling a bit with Ally in that regard.”
Tensions simmered at Zac’s farm following the ladies’ meeting with his twin sister, Izzy. Miranda, in particular, lashed out at Maya for speaking about her to Izzy, prompting Zac to invite both women on the double date: “After yesterday, there’s definitely some things that have been creeping up on my mind that I’ve been wanting to talk about and something that needs to be addressed.”
Confident in her connection, Miranda entered the date feeling secure in her place: “We’ve had that chemistry ever since the first day we met. Maya and Zac have a friendship level connection and there’s nothing there.”
During the date, Miranda made her move, reassuring Zac she was on the show solely for him – not friendships or drama – and urged him to “keep giving me a chance.” Zac admitted the chemistry between them.
At farewell time, sensing the strength of Alex and Eddy’s bond, Gabbie chose to leave, sparing Alex from making the decision himself.
After rediscovering the spark with Carly, Jarrad said goodbye to Cara.
The mood turned icy at Dylan’s farm when Lily learned about Dylan and Ally’s kiss during the double date: “It was sneaky and I don’t like it. That’s not something I would personally do to another girl on a double date.”
Disheartened, Lily walked out, but not before warning Dylan about Ally, leaving him rattled.
Things took a dramatic turn at Zac’s farm during the farewell dinner. Miranda continued her passive aggressive behaviour towards Maya, and in a shock decision, Zac asked front-runner Miranda to leave. “Seeing Miranda say that at the table, it was sort of the nail in the coffin. Miranda was passive aggressive towards Maya, and I just don’t agree with how things were going about.”
