Champagne Flows at Bachelor in Paradise Elimination

Bachelor in Paradise took things to the next level last night with a dramatic episode.

After her blind date with Jake, Megan entered paradise to meet everyone and face an angry Florence. Sensing something was wrong, Jake tried to fix things with Florence by reassuring her his relationship with Megan was just platonic.

Jarrod decided to take Ali on a single date to get to know her better. They tried their hand at some traditional Fijian dancing, before sitting down for champagne and a chat.  Jarrod was open and honest with Ali, who thought he was lovely but unsure if there was a spark.

Back in paradise, Nina told Florence that Jake kissed Megan on their blind date, despite Jake reassuring her they were only friends. Florence confronted Jake on his lies and threw a glass of champagne over him in anger.

After spending a lot of time together, Mack was still unsure of where he stood with Leah. He was left even more confused when Leah told him she was interested in Michael, but Mack quickly moved on and set his sights on Ali.

Once Jarrod and Ali arrived back from their single date, Osher announced that there would be a rose ceremony.

At the cocktail party, the bachelors gossiped over who would receive roses. With both Jarrod and Mack interested in Ali, Michael took her aside to tell her he was also keen to get to know her more, but did not want to tread on anyone’s toes.

Jake struggled to choose between his new and old love interests, Megan and Florence, while Jarrod took Keira aside to let her know he planned on giving his rose to Ali tonight, leaving Keira devastated.

At the rose ceremony, Mack was first off the mark and controversially chose Ali, an upset Jarrod picked Keira as his second option, Eden unsurprisingly chose Nina and Luke gave his rose to Lisa.

When it was Blake’s turn, he offered his rose to Laurina but failed to remember her name, leaving Laurina extremely unimpressed and ready to end things with him.

As expected, Sam picked Tara and Michael chose Leah, leaving Jake to decide between Megan and Florence. After much deliberation, Jake decided to pick Megan, despite promising Florence a rose.

On failing to receive a rose from Jake, Florence said: “I shouldn’t have kept him here, he ended my journey here and ruined it for me. I hope he’s pleased with himself and I hope he’s able to sleep tonight.”

Sunday  on Bachelor in Paradise  Sam and Tara seal the deal on a romantic single date, plus two male US Bachelor In Paradise veterans – Grant Kemp and Daniel McGuire – arrive in Fiji, ready to steal the hearts of the bachelorettes.
