Ten has continued with the surprising announcements for 2015.
Network Ten has acquired Bondi Ink, the latest iteration in the highly successful US television franchise.
, the production is the first Ink Australian franchise and features the team behind Miami Ink, LA Ink and NY Ink. With the help of world-famous tattoo artists and stars of NY Ink, Mike Diamond and Tommy Montoya, the series will go behind the scenes at famed tattoo store Bondi Ink during Bondi Beach’s frenetic summer season.
Australian tattoo artist Mike Diamond has been involved with the Ink productions since their inception and says he has wanted to bring the concept to Australia for some time. I’ve thought about doing something like Bondi Ink for almost eight years,” Diamond says. “Now that we have everything in place, I know we are on to something really special that people all over the world are going to love.”
With a cast of top Australian tattoo artists and several special guests, Bondi Ink will showcase world-class tattoo art in one of Australia’s most iconic locations.
