BINGE, DAZN’s entertainment streaming platform, and FOXTEL are inviting fans to step back inside Wentworth, with every season of the global phenomenon available to stream now on BINGE and FOXTEL ahead of the arrival of the highly anticipated Australian original drama series Wentworth: Halfway Home.
Since premiering on FOXTEL in 2013, Wentworth has been a defining moment in Australian television. A Fremantle production that reimagined the landmark series Prisoner, it has screened in over 170 territories worldwide across nine seasons, built a fiercely loyal fan base and turned its cast into household names. Season 1 ranks as the #4 Australian drama in FOXTEL history, and Seasons 7, 8 and 9 each ranked as FOXTEL’s #1 Australian drama in their first run. With a new chapter on the way, now is the perfect time to revisit Bea, Franky, Boomer and the women of Wentworth Correctional Centre from the beginning, or to discover the series for the first time.
The numbers show the strength of the series. Despite no new season since August 2021, Wentworth is the #2 most-watched series on BINGE in 2026 so far. Viewers coming to BINGE for the series are up 55 per cent year on year, spiking in February after the new series was first announced and surging again in July following the cast announcements, with September being its biggest sign-up month since early 2022. Launched on BINGE on 27 October 2021, it is BINGE’s top Australian series of all time by hours, and September was its strongest viewing month since 2022.
Production on Wentworth: Halfway Home is currently underway in Melbourne. Freshly paroled, Boomer arrives at Sal’s Halfway House determined to get custody of her daughter and build a life for them both. But when a body turns up, who can she trust in a home full of ex-cons? Getting out of prison was hard, but staying out may prove impossible.
Fans can binge every season of Wentworth now on BINGE and FOXTEL, ahead of the premiere of Wentworth: Halfway Home exclusively on BINGE and FOXTEL in late 2026.
