Binge Unveils Long-Term Supercharged NBCUniversal Deal

BINGE will continue to be home to some of the world’s most anticipated new series and a deep catalogue of fan favourites, following the long-term extension of its partnership with leading global entertainment studio NBCUniversal (NBCU).

The new agreement, which commences in 2028, will continue to give BINGE and Foxtel subscribers exclusive access in Australia to first-run scripted programming from Sky Studios, as well as Universal Studio Group (USG)-produced series for Peacock. 

Also included in the historic partnership extension are Pay-1 movies, the largest collection of seasons in the Law & Order brand in Australia, dedicated DreamWorks and Universal TV channels, a true crime channel, brand new series of popular reality franchises and seamless access to Hayu, home of the world’s biggest and most popular reality TV shows, through integration on Foxtel set-top boxes.

Highlights of the extended partnership:

  • Exclusive rights in Australia to first-run scripted programming from Sky and USG-produced drama and comedy series for Peacock. 
  • An expanded movie library with blockbuster franchises such as Fast and FuriousHow to Train Your DragonMinions, Bridget JonesDespicable Me and Jurassic Park, in addition to multi-year Pay-1 window rights to highly anticipated titles from NBCU’s upcoming film slates.
  • An extensive collection of iconic television shows including The OfficeDownton AbbeyFriday Night Lights, and Brooklyn Nine-Nine, as well as select seasons of the Law & Order and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit libraries.
  • Channel Carriage of popular NBCU channel brands Universal TV and DreamWorks, with the addition of the Universal Crime channel.
  • Popular reality franchises including new seasons of Below DeckBelow Deck MediterraneanThe Real Housewives of Orange County, among many others.
  • Hayu to join Foxtel’s app offering, providing a comprehensive world of premium reality TV.

The agreement and content also extend to Foxtel subscribers.
