BBC horror-drama Being Human is leaving us after its 5th season
Season five of the tale about a ghost, a werewolf and vampire, will be the show’s last, reaching an ‘apocalyptic’ ending when the three will take on the devil.
The show began in 2008 but original cast Aiden Turner (Vampire), Russell Tovey (Werewolf) and Lenora Crichlow (Ghost) have all since departed.
Executive Producer Rob Pursey said, “From the first one-hour pilot, all the way through to this climactic series, we’ve been given real creative freedom and encouragement.
“It’s a credit to BBC Three that such an unusual idea has been allowed to flourish and evolve in its own unique way”.
The show is one of BBC Three’s most successful programmes and spawned a US spin-off which is aired here on Eleven
The UK original aired in Australia on the ABC.
