Tomorrow night, 10 unveils the hotly-anticipated Australian Survivor: Redemption.
This year, all 24 players are entering the game with a personal mission – something to prove or a regret to make right. They’re not just playing to win; they’re playing to rewrite the story of who they are.
The cast is a mix of new and old players, all out to prove themselves and push their limits. New faces include pastor Daniel Lindberg, who knows people will underestimate him because of his job; musician Don Rogers, brother of NRL Hall of Fame legend Steve Rogers and two-time Survivor competitor Mat Rogers, is out to build on the Rogers legacy; truck driver Caleb Beeby, whose current life is just starting at the white lines of a highway as he works from dawn ‘til dusk; and model Lyndl Kean, who wants to break the stereotypes her industry is perceived as.
And returning for a chance at redemption is Mark Warnock, who came agonisingly close to victory in Titans V Rebels and is sharper and smarter than ever about playing this game; Brains V Brawns and Heroes V Villains’ Simon Mee, who is hoping third time is a charm; hoping to trade his third place for a first place is Harry Hills from Champions V Contenders II and the longest immunity challenge in Australian Survivor history; and Brooke Jowett from All Stars is hoping to forget about the jury pitch that still haunts her.
Adding another exciting layer this year is a host change, with All Stars winner David Genat taking the helm and guiding this new group through reward immunities and nail-biting Tribal Council with a steady presence that is warm and inviting.
Australian Survivor continues to impress from the get-go, and Redemption is a game you won’t want to miss.
