Manu Fidel gets another travel series next month this time on 7Two.
This is real time, no cushy green rooms or business class airfares; just Manu, 30 days, $20K and dreams of the wonderful food he is about to discover on his culinary voyage.
Manu jets off to London, as his first stop. It only seems appropriate he visits the place that the original book begins, at London’s Reform Club. Manu then discovers a breakfast place that’s in his budget, but is it to his liking? There are famous dishes to discover in Hackney, some kitchen work in Poole at Rick Stein’s latest restaurant, to help top up the budget, and a charcuterie lesson in Dorset in exchange for a meal. Has his first leg been a success? Is he on track and budget?
