Sad news today with the passing of TV legend Ann B. Davis who passed away earlier today.
Ms Davis who died after a fall in her bathroom, rose to popularity by playing a secretary on The Bob Cummings Show for four years in that time she was given two Emmy Awards for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series.
Her most well known and treasured role was as Alice Nelson on The Brady Bunch s which premiered in 1969 and ran for five seasons, Davis went on to reprise the character in the many offshoots, including The Brady Bunch Variety Hour, The Brady Brides and The Bradys. She also put in a cameo as a truck driver in 1995′sThe Brady Bunch Movie.
