Andrew and Emelia leave My Kitchen Rules

Andrew and Emelia leave My Kitchen Rules

Last night My Kitchen Rules eliminated it first team but it wasn’t without a  few dramas.

Well-traveled friends Chloe and Kelly narrowly escaped the season’s first elimination with only two points separating the WA team from eliminated team, ACT’s Andrew and Emelia.

Chloe and Kelly scored 49 out of 110 for their Gatsby themed restaurant “Nouveau”, leaving Andrew and Emelia at the bottom of the leaderboard with a score of 47 for their “Berralicious” instant restaurant.

Chloe and Kelly’s controversial decision to use store bought pastry for their Mille-feuille with passion fruit custard drew the wrath of judge Pete Evans who said the girls should have used their prep time more wisely to make their own puff pastry.   “This is a cooking competition and this is where we need to see all your talent and skills,” said Pete who scored the girls a two for their dessert.

Manu gave the dish a four ensuring that Team WA didn’t leave the kitchen just yet.

Upon learning of their elimination, Andrew said he felt “gutted.” “We really just wanted that one more chance to prove we can really cook. But I guess that’s the competition.” Emelia added: “This is definitely not the end for us. We’re definitely going to keep cooking. We feel so privileged to have been on this amazing journey.”

Tonight 6 new teams will be introduced and i have a feeling that Queensland will be the talk of social media.

My Kitchen Rules airs Sundays at 6.30pm and Mondays to Wednesdays at 7:30pm on Seven.
