US drama The Americans was recently renewed by FX,
The critically-acclaimed drama is set in 1981 just after Ronald Reagan is elected president, and stars Keri Russell, Matthew Rhys and Noah Emmerich. Created and Executive Produced by Joe Weisberg (Falling Skies), the series revolves around the complex marriage of two KGB spies posing as Americans in suburban Washington D.C.
It was renewed four episodes into its 13 episode first season
