It’s the episode no Neighbours fan should miss as a prodigal son returns to the neighbourhood.
Returning tonight is fan favourite and OG Shane Ramsay (Peter O’Brien), who was last seen during the star-studded finale. His reappearance this time is a surprise, and when questioned by Leo (Tim Kano) and oldest friend Paul (Stefan Dennis) he admits he’s in town to sort out some family stuff.
Whilst the friends catch up about what’s been happening since their last reunion, it seems things have gone awry for Shane and Izzy (Natalie Bassingthwaite), who were seen getting cozy during the finale and were confirmed to have still been an item with the revival. In fact, the loved-up couple were only mentioned a few weeks ago, and while Shane’s vague on the details, it’s a shock that things have taken a turn so quickly.
Shane’s family business sees the arrival of son Max (Ben Jackson), who makes quiet an impression by knocking Holly (Lucinda Armstrong Hall) into the pool and aggravating Byron (Xavier Molyneux).
But just what has brought the OG Ramsay back to Ramsay Street?
Stephanie Carter gets to return Shane and introduce Max in style, with a few hints and a mystery to unravel over the next little while. Peter steps back into Shane’s shoes with ease, while Ben lights up the screen in his first outing.
Neighbours airs Monday-Thursday at 4:00pm on 10, with episodes repeated at 6:30pm on 10PeachComedy.
