Tomorrow night, Neighbours celebrates Christmas with a jam-packed, drama-filled and festive episode.
It’s the calm before the storm as we see the residents of Erinsborugh celebrate Christmas before we’re faced with Robert (Adam Hunter) on the run after not taking his sedative.
David (Takaya Honda) is barely clinging to life and Harlow (Jemma Donovan) can’t help but feel responsible for her father’s actions. Meanwhile Toadie (Ryan Moloney) and Chloe (April Rose Pengilly) debate cancelling the Christmas Concert, only for an unexpected person to insist they go ahead with the festivities.
While questions remain on Robert’s location, an exhausted and heavily pregnant Elly (Jodi Anasta) decides to skip the concert and stay home, but when she witnesses a terrifying sight out on the Street, her water breaks at the worst possible moment. Will Elly’s baby have a safe arrival into the world, or will this be a Christmas to remember for all the wrong reasons?
Penning an episode that fall on a holiday like Christmas would be a tough job, but Executive Producer Jason Herbison finds a balance between the drama and festivities with ease, giving fans everything you’d expect from a Christmas in Erinsborough.
You’ll certainly want to be skipping Christmas dinner for this nail-biting episode!
Neighbours airs weeknights at 6:30pm on 10Peach.
