This week, the NCIS: Sydney team take on a deadly case that will leave two team members fighting for their lives.
After the death of US navy scientist Dr Alan Bridges (Sam O’Sullivan), the NCIS team are on the hunt for how he contracted the deadly treatment-resistant form of Ebola, the first case for Australia. With the top-secret military research agency who commissioned the virus barring them at every turn, the last thing they need is for Doc Roy (William McInnes) and Blue (Mavournee Hazel) being quarantined after exposure to the virus.
As the rest of the team race to retrace Alan’s final days, they discover a mosquito loaded with Ebola with a microchip in its body. When their search leads them to a secret research warehouse in Sydney, they begin to question whether this is bioresearch to treat diseases or the development of bioweapons…
It’s a race against time to find Alan’s killer, while also saving thousands of lives from a deadly virus and two of their own. Will they be able to solve the case in time or is the NCIS Sydney team about to lose one of the team?
Written by Fiona Kelly and Ella Cook, this episode has everything from an interesting case to character developments, and McInnes and Hazel’s dynamic is a treat to watch.
NCIS: Sydney is streaming on Paramount+ with new episodes every Tuesday. Due to Thanksgiving, there will not be a new episode on 25 November.
