A new lifestyle program, My Way, will bring local production back to Queensland when it launches nationally on Nine next month joining Nine’s slate of weekend programming.
Produced from Nine Queensland’s Mt Coot-tha headquarters, My Way will unearth a style not currently seen in lifestyle programming, creating a sincere and personal approach.
“We want everyday people to share their stories firsthand, to hear what drives them and makes them feel alive,” said Executive Producer, Geoff Cooper. “You’ll see stories about great destinations, outdoor adventure and weekend activities, told from the heart.”
“We’ll hear from real people, talking about their passions in life, proudly saying ‘I’m doing this my way’.”
Tim Blackwell will navigate each episode, narrating stories to inspire viewers to make the most of their time. He will also provide information for those interested to seek out more information on their favourite stories.
“What I love about My Way is it’s so fresh,” says Blackwell. “We are already used to sharing stories and information on social media with our friends, family, neighbours and community. This is the television extension of that.
“These stories are direct from the source, with information on how the viewers can get involved when the story inspires them.”
Nine Queensland’s Managing Director, Kylie Blucher, believes My Way will be a perfect outlet for viewers to step outside their comfort zone and really take advantage of life.
“A new decade brings new resolutions and local opportunities for Nine Queensland to engage with our audience and program partners, to showcase what this great state has to offer,” Ms Blucher said.
