Heart of the Nation, The World’s Largest CPR Class, will go to air on Channel 9 for the first time next month. Hosted by Richard Wilkins, the broadcast will run in line with the Heart of the Nation charity founded by original Yellow Wiggle and sudden cardiac arrest survivor, Greg Page.
More than 27,000 Australians suffer from sudden cardiac arrest each year and 90 per cent do not survive. In Heart of the Nation, The World’s Largest CPR Class, viewers will learn how to perform life-saving CPR on adults and children effectively, hear the gut-wrenching stories of those who have experienced cardiac arrest, and gain an understanding of how important it is for wider public access to AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators) nationwide.

State of Origin consistently performs as the highest rating sports event of the year and will once again be broadcast exclusively on Nine in 2022.
The ultimate bone-crunching battle of State versus State, mate versus mate, drew a massive television audience of 8 million viewers over the three-game series in 2021, with State ofOrigin experiencing enormous year-on-year growth across both broadcast and BVOD platforms.

Returning to Australia for the second time, the 2022 UCI Road World Championships will provide eight days of elite road cycling in Wollongong, New South Wales, with all events broadcast live, ad-free and on-demand on Stan Sport and select events on the 9Network.

The TV WEEK Logie Awards will return to the Gold Coast in 2022 after a two-year postponement due to COVID-19 restrictions. Channel 9 will broadcast the 62nd celebration of the awards live from The Star on the Gold Coast, bringing viewers an overdue night of glamour and recognition of excellence in Australian television.
CAROLS BY CANDLELIGHT
The nation’s favourite Christmas Eve tradition continues with the 85th year of Vision Australia’s Carols by Candlelight, where some of our biggest stars will come together and perform all the Christmas favourites.
Families, friends and loved ones will share the spirit of Christmas when Carols by Candlelight is broadcast live from Melbourne’s Sidney Myer Music Bowl on Saturday, December 24, at 8.00pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.

The prestigious ARIA Awards will be broadcast once more on Channel 9 in 2022, the 36th year of celebrating the best and most popular Aussie music acts of the year with an outstanding showcase of celebrities and industry figures.
