Ten has released it’s schedule for the Castrol EDGE France Tour which kicks off on the weekend.
With just two days to go until the mighty Wallabies take on Les Bleus in the first test of the 2014 Castrol EDGE France Tour on TEN, the teams and commentators are preparing to kick-off the anticipated international Rugby season at Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium.
In the first French tour to Australia since 2009, the Aussies will take on the 2011 Rugby World Cup Finalists in a three-game Test series in June, with games in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney, for the Trophée des Bicentenaires.
Wallabies coach Ewen McKenzie launched the team this week, with stalwart hooker Stephen Moore to lead Australia’s strong 32-man squad in Saturday night’s opening clash.
In total, the squad boasts 831 games of Test experience, has an average age of just under 26 and includes representatives from all five Australian Super Rugby teams. With nothing to lose and everything to gain, the in-form Wallabies will be giving it their all on home turf.
Join TEN Sport’s Scott Mackinnon, the voice of Rugby – Gordon Bray – and former Wallabies Matt Burke (now with TEN Eyewitness News) and Stirling Mortlock for all the analysis, action and electric atmosphere live on TEN.
