The Project January 28 – February 2

It’s another big week for The Project.

The Sunday Project welcomes Lisa Wilkinson to the panel for the first time to kick off a massive week of special guests including Golden Globe Award-winning actress Jessica Chastain. The star of Interstellar and Zero Dark Thirty will discuss her new film Molly’s Game.

In her first in-depth interview for The Project, Lisa reports on a heartbreaking story of surrogacy. Jessica Brockie, wife of New Zealand footballer Jeremy Brockie, agreed to be a surrogate for the couple’s friends Bec and Gareth Arena. Tragically, Bec, who suffered from cystic fibrosis, passed away last September and Gareth has just welcomed his son into the world without his wife by his side. Lisa meets Jessica, Gareth and his newborn son in this moving interview.

On Monday night, The Project will be bursting with music royalty, when some of the biggest names in rock and R&B appear in their first Australian television interviews. The ladies from R&B supergroup TLC will join the desk ahead of their February tour and the Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl and Taylor Hawkins will take a break from their Australian tour to drop by the studio.

Funny man Dave Hughes will be on the desk on Tuesday ahead of the highly anticipated premiere of his new Network Ten show,Hughesy, We Have a Problem, along with Irishman Brendan O’Carroll, creator and writer of UK hit sitcom Mrs. Brown’s Boys.

Plus Hamish Macdonald, Rachel Corbett, Steve Price, Gorgi Coghlan, Fifi Box and Anthony “Lehmo” Lehmann join the panel across the week.
