TRAVEL: COOK ISLANDS RAROTONGA
On board his flight to the gorgeous South Pacific island paradise, the Cook Islands, Chris learns the ‘must do’ activity in Rarotonga is to climb a coconut tree. With help from local herbalist Pa and some Dutch courage in the form of a potion made from local Noni fruit, Chris circumnavigates the island, swims a lagoon channel and meets the nation’s champion coconut tree climber – Captain Awesome. Climbing a tree in the Cooks is the best way to prove one’s manhood … and find a wife.
FOOD: CHRIS BROWN’s COOK-A-NUT BANANA BREAD
Captain Awesome’s coconut-tree-climbing champion status is safe for now, but Chris has left the Cook Island with something, a delicious coconut and banana bread recipe. For the first time this season, Miguel and Chris combine forces in the studio kitchen as Chris shares his cooking know how with this simple island inspired dish.
