Tomorrow night The Footy Show digs deep for a very special cause.

The show will host its third annual “Big Change for Little Champions” Telethon.

In partnership with Nissan, the Logie Award-winning show will call on footy fans to raise funds for The Starlight Children’s Foundation which helps sick kids and their families all around the country. The telethon is one of the biggest campaigns in Footy Show history, having raised nearly a million dollars for the charity over the past two years.

On The Footy Show last week, Paul “Fatty” Vautin, Erin Molan and Darryl “The Big Marn” Brohmancaught up with some of the kids in the Sydney’s Children’s Hospital at Randwick who will directly benefit from the money raised. Since then the gang are more determined than ever to raise as much money as possible on Thursday night.

Joining the team on the panel as special guest hosts will be Rugby League Immortal Andrew Johns, league legend Mark Geyer and Aussie actor, screenwriter, director and mad Sharks fan, Brendan Cowell. On Thursday night, viewers will see what happened when Brendan joined the happy Cronulla fans after the Sharks’ emphatic win over the Bunnies qualified them for the semi-final against the Cowboys on the weekend.

Hosting live from the Telstra phone room will be Starlight ambassadors Darryl Brohman, Mornings co-hostDavid Campbell and Test fullback Billy Slater, with an incredible line up of NRL players and Nine personalities answering calls. Meanwhile another Starlight ambassador, surfing sensation Mick Fanning, will be surprising a very special Gold Coast girl with an amazing surfing experience.

International Ultimate Fighting Championship and Entourage star, Ronda Rousey, and President and CEO of the UFC, Dana White, will also be on the show, joining Erin in the studio to show her some of their famous UFC moves. And The Big Marn will conduct a very special edition of Small Talk with some of the kids in the Starlight Express Room with help from Billy Slater.
