Given it’s recent Golden Globes successes Nine has decided to show Transparent from next week.
The series revolves around a Los Angeles family and their lives following the discovery that father Mort (Jeffrey Tambor) is transgender. Consisting of just 12 episodes Nine has smartly decided to screen the series as double episodes.

The winner of two Golden Globes; this dark comedy about an L.A. family with some serious boundary issues has their world unravelled when the families patriarch reveals something disturbing and unexpected about his personal life . Meanwhile e Sarah introduces her husband to her ex-girlfriend Tammy.
The show which picked up two Golden Globes last week is expected to be one of the big draw cards to get viewers to try out streaming service Stan.
10 PM Tuesday from January 27 on Nine.
