It’s been a long month for Neighbours fans, but have no fear, the hiatus is nearly over, and the drama can continue.
When viewers last tuned into their favourite cul-de-sac, Paige (Olympia Valance) was kidnaped by an unknown assailant, Toadie (Ryan Moloney) was just about to go into surgery to fix his paralysis, and Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis) had lost everything.
As 2016 begins, Toadie’s surgery is underway. It’s a nervous wait for Sonya (Eve Morey), but what will she do when she learns Belinda is assisting? Can she save Toadie before Belinda can succeed in her deadly revenge plan?
Paul is the focal point of the episode, as he takes refuge in a place you never thought you would see him, but what’s even more surprising is just who helps him get back on his feet. Where he ends up at the end of the episode will surprise many viewers.
While viewers were left shocked and surprised by what happened to Paige in the finale, fans will have to wait a little longer to find out what happens. The story takes a back seat to the other cliffhangers that needed to be resolved in this episode, and it seemed to work. Will Paige be found in time?
Neighbours is back, and it’s still as good as ever. 6:30pm Monday on Eleven.
