It was the cliffhanger that surprised Neighbours fans – is someone else about to
leave the street?
Last night, JJ Varga-Murphy (Riley Bryant) asked his biological father Felix Rodwell
(James Beaufort) to leave Erinsborough. The request came after weeks of turmoil
for the family, with Felix having recently caused tension between the Varga-Murphy
clan when he offered to become a sperm donor for Cara (Sara West) and Remi
(Naomi Rukavina).
When we pick up tonight, both Felix’s brother Andrew (Lloyd Will) and the Varga-
Murphys are perplexed. Andrew is devastated at the idea of losing his brother after
looking forward to them reconnecting and starting a new chapter together.
Meanwhile Cara and Remi feel as though this decision has come out of the blue and
assume there’s been a fight of some kind. They’re both shocked to realise they are
the reason JJ has made the decision, in the wake of the recent tension.
Is there hope for JJ to change his mind, or is Erinsborough about to lose another
resident?
Margaret Wilson pens an instalment that might be the final chapter in one of the
revival’s biggest arcs, with performances from James and Riley that might cause an
unexpected reaction.
Neighbours airs 6:30pm tonight on 10Peach Comedy, with the episode repeated
tomorrow at 4:00pm on 10. Broadcast returns to normal next week, with episodes
airing Monday-Thursday at 4:00pm on 10, and repeated at 6:30pm on 10Peach
