Tonight Binge unleashes the hotly anticipated The Day Of The Jackal.

The Jackal (Eddi Redmayne) is a highly-skilled assassin using a bunch of different disguises and impressive language skills. When the series begins, he pulls of an assassination that puts him on the trail of MI6 agent Bianca (Lashana Lynch), who is tasked with taking him down.

What transpires over the course of the first five episodes provided for review, it is clear that both of them will stop at nothing to achieve their missions.

Writer Ronan Bennett has adapted the much-loved 1973 film with a surprising update that pulls you in and makes you question whose side you’re on. With rich characters, cool action sequences and surprising emotional stakes, you’ll be gripped throughout all ten episodes.

A stunning performance by Redmayne, and Lynch is great as his foil in a game of cat-and-mouse.

Grab some pizza and round up the boys for one of the best shows of 2024.
