ophie Monk is back on the sunny Spanish island of Mallorca for the sixth season of Love Island Australia.
This year Sophie’s theme for our Islanders is all about tough love. No Islander will be getting an easy run.
Our girls – Mimi and Hannah, Em and Xanthe and Eilisha arrive to meet Sophie and all of them proudly say they are looking for love.
They don’t have to wait long for the boys to arrive and in a Love Island Australia first, all the five boys arrive at once.
Indigo, Dylan, Kane, Niko and Zane are our five OG Islanders this year and all of them are so excited.
The girls get to try before they buy and choose to kiss two of the boys in front of them at the firepit.
Mimi chooses Zane and Dylan, Hannah chooses Indigo and Zane, Em chooses Dylan and Zane, Xanthe chooses Kane and Zane, and Eilisha chooses Niko and Dylan.
It’s now time to couple up and the girls run to the heart of the boy they want the most.
In the end five couples are formed:
Hannah and Niko
Em and Indigo
Mimi and Zane
Eilisha and Dylan
Xanthe and Kane
The boys’ shirts come straight off and they all excitedly tour the Villa.
There are some sparks straight away between Niko and Hannah. However Indigo and Em are struggling as she tells him she is a vegan. Zane and Xanthe also have a good chat and are getting along really well.
The Islanders play a game of spin the bottle but are interrupted when Hannah gets a text, a BOMB is about to be dropped and he is COMING IN HOT.
They all wait at the firepit and 28-year-old Taylor, a wharfie from Melbourne full of tatts and big muscles, arrives and the girls are automatically impressed.
The boys watch on, they realise they have some serious competition in Taylor.
