Proving the surprises keep coming on Dancing With The Stars, this week saw no elimination take place sending Constance Hall, Courtney Act, Jett Kenny and Samuel Johnson straight through to the semi-final.
Following Jimmy Rees’ sudden withdrawal from the competition after his new born son’s medical emergency, the children’s performer made a truly heartbreaking and emotional video message to his supporters andDancing With The Stars family.
But as they say in the biz, the show must go on and, boy, did it ever!
The celebrities’ individual dances with their partners didn’t disappoint with Courtney’s jazz routine proving a winner with a score of 26. Not to be outdone, Samuel also scored the same number of points because his quickstep had “all of the things”.
Despite the judges noting that Constance needs to feel and interpret the dance through her facial expressions, she wasn’t far behind Courtney and Samuel with a score of 21. However, resident poster boy Jett faltered and scored 16 points with Craig suggesting he had velcro on his shoes.
With each celebrity inheriting another eliminated dancer for their second performance, it was the trio routines that really had everyone in awe.
Dancing the paso doble to Madonna’s Die Another Day and once again switching the gender roles, Courtney took control of Jarryd and Josh. Sharna loved it, scoring a 10 and telling the drag performer; “it was phenomenal.”
Constance had the pleasure of working with two Italian stallions, Gustavo and best mate Marco in a three way tango. Craig picked up on her flaws but an impressive flip at the end landed her a score of 22.
Jett along with Lily and Sir Curtly Ambrose’s partner Siobhan salsa’d their way through the sexiest routine the show has ever seen. The envy of every red blooded male in the country, Jett unfortunately faulted and landed on a score of 16.
Samuel performed a very dark and primal paso doble alongside Jorja and Miguel Maestre’s partner, Megan. The actor was guilty of some spaghetti arms but still landed three 8’s from the judges.
