Catch an exclusive sneak-peek episode of Australia’s newest game show, Tipping Point, this Christmas Eve at 7.00pm on Channel 9 and 9Now, followed by Vision Australia’s Carols by Candlelight. 

Tennis legend Todd Woodbridge takes on a new challenge as host of Australia’s rendition of the famous game that pushes contestants’ luck to the very edge. 

The original UK format has taken the country by storm, and in 2024 Australia finally has its own version of the show that will test the wit and wisdom of contestants as they take on the mesmerising Tipping Point machine – only the second one ever made anywhere in the world. 

Just like our UK counterpart, our Aussie game format comprises four rounds, but it has a few surprises along the way.  

The first two rounds are all about banking as much money as possible, with the goal to win counters to play in the Tipping Point machine. 

At the end of Round 2, the contestant with the least amount of money will be eliminated and the remaining two contestants will go head-to-head, again trying to bank the most amount of money to avoid elimination. 

One lucky contestant will then make it to the final Jackpot round to play for $20,000. But we’ve added a twist. Todd’s secret Jackpot Temptation. Will Todd be able to tempt the contestants or will they play it safe?
