Tiffany departs the Jungle

In a big  episode of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!, ;last night  an elimination loomed.

Jackie Gillies, Fiona O’Loughlin, Peter Rowsthorn and Kerry made I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! television history when they completed Hot Swingers, a never before seen trial of monumental proportions.

To each earn two stars, a celebrity had to jump from one hot air balloon and swing across to another balloon. First was Peter, who overcame his nerves to show the others how it was done. Kerry and Fiona followed in Peter’s brave footsteps, but Jackie was overwhelmed by fear and could not take part.

Back in camp, Kerry opened up to Danny, telling him how much she supports his charity, Coward Punch Campaign, confiding that one of her sons was attacked at school while his twin brother watched, unable to help.

Tensions rose between Simone and Danny when he woke her up early to send her to collect firewood. Unhappy about Danny bossing her around, Simone expressed her displeasure to Jackie and Josh Gibson.

Later in the show, hosts Dr. Chris Brown and Julia Morris announced that American singer songwriter Tiffany was the first celebrity to be voted out of the jungle.

Tiffany faced her fears from the very start when she was forced to leap from a harrowing height into fast-rushing, shark-infested waters, alongside camp mates Shannon Noll and Jackie. Tiffany then took part in three trials, with the most memorable being Hang-ry Birds. After much deliberation, her fear of heights led her to say the words “I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!” to halt the trial and Chris gallantly stepped in to complete the trial in her place.

Around camp, the other celebrities described Tiffany as lively and kind. She was known for her singing, dancing and honesty, especially when she shared the very personal story of how and why she divorced her mother.
