Deborra-Lee Furness, David Walliams, Rachael Taylor, Kevin Rudd, and  Adam Spencer are all on The Project this week.

The founder of Adopt Change, Deborra-Lee Furness, joins The Project team live at the desk on Monday to chat about National Adoption Awareness Week. Deborra-Lee will be calling on the State and Federal governments to put greater focus on the rights of vulnerable, at-risk children.

On Tuesday, TEN will broadcast My Son The Jihadi at 9.30pm. We preview the harrowing, critically-acclaimed British documentary that follows the story of mother Sally Evans and her son Thomas, who at the age of 21 years went from pub-going electrician to an Al-Shabaab fighter in Somalia. On Wednesday night, we speak exclusively to Sally about her shattering story and how she lost her boy.

We catch up with radio presenter and funny-man, Adam Spencer, on the release of his new book The World of Numbers and former Prime Minister Kevin Rudd drops by for a chat.

BAFTA winning actor David Walliams of Little Britain fame will join us on Wednesday night to talk about his latest children’s novel,Grandpa’s Great Escape.   

Australian actress Rachael Taylor will also be live at the desk. We chat to her about her role as Trish Walker in the new superhero seriesMarvel’s Jessica Jones.

Plus Steve Price, Gorgi Coghlan, Fifi Box, Matt White, Jennifer Byrne, Tom Ballard, Ray Martin, Anthony “Lehmo” Lehmann and Meshel Laurie are with us across the week.
