The Project March 21-25

This week The Project has Ben Affleck, Melissa McCarthy, Grant Denyer and  Henry Cavill.

Peter Helliar has returned from L.A. where he sat down with the Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill to talk about their latest film, Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice. Predicted to be one of the box office smashes of 2016, the movie’s star-studded cast also includes Amy Adams, Jesse Eisenberg, Diane Lane, Laurence Fishburne, Holly Hunter and Jeremy Irons.

We catch up with everyone’s favourite game show host Grant Denyer, who will give us a preview of All Star Family Feud which airs Monday, 7.30pm on TEN, starring the stars of MasterChef Australia – Matt Preston, Gary Mehigan, George Calombaris and Shannon Bennett – and past contestants led by Julie Goodwin.

Melissa McCarthy and her director husband Ben Falcone join us at the desk to talk about their latest comedy film, The Boss, which also stars Kristen Bell and Peter Dinklage. Melissa plays business mogul Michelle Darnell who has spent time in prison for insider trading. When she emerges, she is ready to rebrand herself as America’s latest sweetheart.

To celebrate the start of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, we speak to Jen Kirkman who returns with a brand new show. The Chelsea Lately co-star is one of the most exciting comics in America right now. Plus Canadian comedian, Tom Green drops by for a chat. Best known for his unique brand of comedy, Tom is back with a brand new show that promises a night of raw, genuine, intelligent comedy where anything goes.

On Friday night, Father Bob Maguire joins us for his annual Good Friday message.

Matt White joins us across the week while Waleed takes a break. Plus Steve Price, Fifi Box, Mia Freedman, Tommy Little, Anthony “Lehmo” Lehmann, Gorgi Coghlan and Meshel Laurie are with us across the week.

The Project airs 6:30pm weeknights on Ten.
