This week The Project has  Dame Julie Andrews, Shannan Ponton, Killing Heidi, Bob Odenkirk and  Archie Thompson.

It is one of the world’s most loved musicals and 61 years since My Fair Lady first played on Broadway, a new generation of fans will get to experience this amazing recreation of the classic show when it tours Australia. On Monday night, we are joined by the original Eliza Doolittle, Dame Julie Andrews, who is directing the Australian production. We chat to Dame Julie about her amazing career.

Trainer Shannan Ponton joins us at the desk on Monday night.

 

It has been 20 years since Triple J unearthed the Hooper siblings as Killing Heidi with their disarming folk pop song,Kettle. The band soon expanded into colourful teenage power pop and burst onto the national and international stage with their breakthrough debut album, Reflector. Ella, Jesse and the band are about to head out on their first national tour in more than a decade. They join us at the desk on Tuesday night to tell us all about it.

 

American actor, comedian, writer, director and producer, Bob Odenkirk, drops by for a chat. Best known for his role as dubious fast-talking lawyer Saul Goodman on the drama series Breaking Bad and its spin-off Better Call Saul, which is now into its third season, we chat to Bob about his remarkable career. 

 

We chat to football royalty, Archie Thompson and Denis Irwin, ahead of their historic charity match in Perth next weekend when former Manchester United players take on a team of all-star Aussie legends. We speak to them on Friday night to preview the match.

 

Following his time in the African jungle on Network Ten’s hit family entertainment show I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!, Steve Price returns to The Project desk on Monday night. Plus Fifi Box, Gretel Killeen, Tommy Little, Ryan “Fitzy” Fitzgerald, Meshel Laurie, Gorgi Coghlan and Anthony “Lehmo” Lehmann join us across the week.
